Front cover: C. elegans sma-4 and sma-5 are mutants of DBL1/TGF pathway and MAP kinase pathway respectively and show small phenotype. Since these pathways are independent, a sma-4; sma-5 double mutant shows super small phenotype. Surprisingly the number of the cells in the double mutant is almost the same as those of the parental single mutants and wild type. For details see the article by N.
