The international team of Editors and Associate Editors represent a huge range of interests, but each have as the core of their research the elucidation of basic molecular mechanisms that underly fundamental biological events and processes. Consequently Genes to Cells welcomes high quality original research and review papers across the whole of the biological sciences - from protein structure to gene rearrangement, and from cell fate determination to neural development - all with the aim of understanding basic molecular mechanisms.
